A few quick updates as we head into the new week in Bedok.
Tomorrow and Tuesday, routine cleaning and washing will be carried out at Block 216 as part of the regular maintenance in the area.
We also expect the follow-up X-ray results to start coming in by mid-week. Based on the current assessments, most are expected to be latent TB cases, while a smaller number may require additional follow-up checks and treatment.
And some good news too — our merchants and hawkers are organizing a getai celebration, together with $50,000 worth of vouchers, to continue bringing residents back together and supporting businesses in Bedok.
It’s been a long couple of weeks for many, especially our hawkers and shop owners. But I’ve also seen a lot of calmness, cooperation, and community spirit throughout this period.
Let’s continue to move forward lsteadily, responsibly, and with care for one another.
